Bioshock 1.1 Patch Out

I meant the FOV issue. On vista and Xp widescreen wasn't truely suppourted. The top and bottom were just cropped.

I know a work-around was released for xp but apparently it didn't work with vista. Thats what i'm asking about.
According to this page it's fixed:
In response to gamers' requests and feedback from the Cult of Rapture (www.CultofRapture.com) community forums, fans of BioShock now have a widescreen option, granting a wider horizontal field of vision, as well as additional enhancements to the game.

theres a tool at you can use to manually correct the FOV, just load it up before you run the game, hit * and tadaa. Works with vista
 
OK, Gopogle says you get 160 ADAM for harvesting and 80 for saving but the more you save the more you get and also you get other stuff from another character so it balances out by the end. But does anyone know, does it balance out exactly, or is one way slightly better?
 
Iirc, I think that you get more worth overall out of it if you save the sisters, because you get the gifts, every now and again for every X you save, by the adam machines.

where X = 5, 10, 15, etc etc.
 
can anyone confirm that it has got rid of the 'no muzzleflash noise' from either both the player or bots+AI... also, does 5.1 work yet? or is it all a wee bit weird.

The added plasmids certainly will add to replay value and despite buying all of GOW, COD4, UT3 and Crysis since BioShock none have grabbed me the same way that Rapture did :)
 
Has anyone had a problem with the High Detail post processing option after the patch?

I get something that looks like this:

Definitely use to work before. Game just isn't the same without it on.
 
Suppose AA in Vista is still a no-no?

Just checked - NO :(

whatever's happened it runs like lightning now :) Dunno if its driver or the patch
