I have tried it everyway mate, uppercase, lowercase, with and without dashes.

I just don't see why they keep on doing this annoying stuff, it will be cracked and usually even before the game is out so they only hurt legitimate buyers.

It's the same as CD's, the people downloading MP3's illegally wouldn't have bought the CD if they could not download.

No pirate mate, I cave called "support" but it just came back to "The gane isn't release until tommorrow" even though I have been through the first part of the activation process.

Hmm. It sucks but keep calling support, you might actually get through to someone who knows what they're doing.

I had the game though from the Jersey company and I installed it at about 2pm and I no problem downloading the patch or the activation. People are remembering to give the program access, as I have mcaffe security and had to give the program access to the net to download the patch and activation.

It might be worth trying a few more times to activate. I just installed the game, entered the serial key exactly and it said mine was invalid, tried a few different ways of putting it in (O and 0) and it still said invalid. Looked around for the support number then before i called i gave the key 1 last go and it accepted it.

Could be their activation server having a bit of a fit.

It must be getting hammered. I remember HL2 activation / decryption or whatever it was... took bloody ages it was so busy.

Not really ,

I had mine pre-loaded on steam. I gamed it 8.08am november 16 2004, A day that I will always remember.

can remember getting up to play that soon as you was aloud to activate it online

just got home with my copy and i want to know should i install on vista 64 or xp on rig in sig (dual booting)

tbh i havent even used vista once just installed it, no gpu drivers installed or anything as i only use xp

so is it worth installing this game on vista or good old xp ?

Well you could run it maxed out in dx10, so i would go vista, just get the new beta 163.44's and it will be fine.

Funny, Jersey's Courier seems to be slower at delivering to it's own residents than overseas

This happens all the time, hope I get it tomorrow.
