Bioshock on your machines.

2900XT, 1440x900, max settings with 16xAF.

I'm around 60 FPS, but I can notice sometimes the game hitting probably around 40 FPS just by noticing it getting a bit stuttery, it's not low enough to make the game annoying to play at some parts though. This is with Vista 64bit and DX10 stuff enabled.

1920x1440, every setting in Nvidia driver and game as high as they go (obv some aspects like AA and AF not work by default), 70FPS Min.

Runs 40-140fps with VSYNC Off, All bells and whistels on 1680x1050..

One gripe, has anyone noticed that a few of the big daddys in the game (2), the FPS really lags when you go near them it's really weird it's only happened with two normally round the big daddys the FPS doesn't move. It's like some are badly coded or somthing.

I'm using DX10/Vista 64 too. I've just discovered mine is re-enabling vsync every time I restart :(

It's worth a check :)

Ohh, checked this morning and my V-Sync has been re-enabled. I disbabled it and saved changes, then exited the game and re-entered and it's enabling it again. Will have to disable it everytime I play I guess. Thanks a lot for the tip!

I discovered this too after getting about a 3rd of the way. Was noticing lag at points, but played on.

Checked graphics eventually and noticed v-sync on. Disabled, then discovered is re-enabled every time.

Guess it's a bug they will have to work out.

2900xt here, playing @ 1680x1050 Full Details and have had zero stuttering. Although i find ~18fps playable :(

Remember 640x480 16bit @ 30fps is all that gamers need (3dfx, 1996)

Getting around 25 - 40 fps on Max settings 1280x1024 which is playable for me, odd bit of stuttering sometimes - Great game !!

Pentium D 805 3ghz
x1900gt
4Gb of DDR2

Not sure on FPS (need to get FRAPS running!) but it's completely smooth maxxed out in DX10 mode on my FX62, HD2900XT, 2GB DDR2-800 PC @ 1280x1024 (max of my 19" monitor) using Vista Business x64

As for bugs - mine looses all of its settings everytime I quit. I have to reconfigure the res, brightness, keys every time I load it. Rather irritating. I also have to run it in XP compatibility mode otherwise the sound doesn't work!

No idea on FPS, but I am yet to experience any kind of slowdown whatsoever and i'm many hours in.

Running 1680x1050 max everything, 16xAnniso, rig in my sig.

Not sure of the fps, but it's smooth enough.

And I'm still using a 6800GT lol (3 year old f t w).

All settings high, no AA or AF I think though @ 1440*900.

E6300 @ 3GHZ, 2gb Crucial Anniversary, 1950XT

1680X1050, Max Details, 2xAA (haven't properly checked if it's working, but it looks great so I'm not bothered to be honest).

It runs smooth all the time, I haven't noticed any slow down at all, I couldn't give two shiny poops about the FPS, if it feels smooth it's FINE.

Just hoping UT3 runs similarly :)

Not got the game yet.. but can someone explain a few of the terms used so far.. ie

AA
vsync
AF

Im getting my new pc delivered tomorrow (Q6600, 8800gtx, 4gb ram) so need to know what the best settings to use are!

No idea whats the fps is but with everything maxxed and dx10, 4xAA/AF its smooth as glass @ 1920x1200 :D

Best looking game to date IMO, man crysis is gunna be sweet on this rig :D

AA = Anti-Aliasing - smoothes out the lines on the screen. Higher is better

VSync = Syncs the frame rate with the refresh rate of your monitor. Avoids 'tearing' - when the screen appears to have a tear accross it.

AF = Antistropic Filtering - improves texture quality

With that system I'd increase everything as high as you can for the best quality!

Apart from AA in Bioshock, as it doesn't work on most setups (limitation of the Unreal Engine 3).
