Have you done the recent performance and reliability updates for Vista

Install latest DX and re-install Visual C++ maybe

I keep turning off V-Sync before I play, Accept the setting then have a game which is perfect. Quit BioShock load it up again and V-Syncs on again!?

It keeps turning it self back on. Anyone else getting this?

I have the same situation.... but doesnt bother me... vsync on works fine for me...

I had the same situation... delete and then re-install the nvidia drivers....

Stupid game won't let me bind the "H" key, says it is a reserved keybinding.

This is pretty lazy coding IMO, and means I have to change my normal movement keys to something else.

Is there a way of overriding this via the .ini files?

I'm fairly sure you can change stuff pretty much to whatever you want in the ini files, yeah. I seem to recall a few people having problems with the in game menu that managed to get round it.

wait, the no aa thing, ive been forcing it through NV control panel at 4x, does this not make a difference?

With the BioShock beta drivers you can get AA in dx9 mode (and poss DX10..heard mixed reports on this) by forcing it through the panel, yeah.

Cant find any other information on it at the moment, so beware when installing that it is Beta and Creative software

what a scary thought., Is there any chance it will work at all?





(I actually had a problem free xifi install the other day. It just worked straight away!)

I tried that beta creative driver and it was utter turd.
