Have loads of games ot play but seriously tempted ot get this, some absolutely epic gaming in there. Definitely on for a replay at some stage, remastered makes it even more tempting.

Didn’t have any good new games so I fired up Bioshock Remastered over the weekend. Back to Rapture and absolutely hooked. I remember how brilliant the game was but had forgotten so much of the details of Rapture. What a masterpiece, absolutely loving the game, totally absorbed in it, long may it last.

Brilliant that this was released free for owners of the original games too.

I had just completed Bioshock 1 a few weeks before the remastered version came out but yeah, there is just something about all 3 games that are such a joy to play - I think enough time has passed for me to have another playthrough of the original - this time remastered. I imagine that, similar to some films, it's one of those game that is better the second time round in terms of picking up the story...

Here here, its about time for a replay from me.

Never, ever has a game captured me as much as Bioshock did when it came out.

Totally absorbed in this now - what a gameworld! This is what I was missing lately: total immersion. Some new games do have lovely eye candy and sound effects and everything but they can lack a bit of depth - all fur coat and no knickers!

This game is such a joy to play, I don't want it to end. I'm even watching the (detailed!) developer commentaries that are hidden throughout, really interesting listening to Ken Levine and co. they really thought out the details in this one.

Arcadia is still beautiful.

Fort Frolic - this must be one of the best maps I have played in any game. Ever. Wonderful and insane and Sander Cohen. Absolutely masterful.

Bought this having never played any of them before.

Quality games.

#1 has a great story. Graphics looked fine for even a modern game.

Would rate #2 lower than the others because the mechanic for the girls was annoying and generally didn't like how they made the elite mobs behave and move. Felt more like fighting players strafing about than enjoying a pve shooter.

#3 didn't feel good til about the last 1/3 but on the second run through it's a lot more understandable and enjoyable. The cryptic garbage really made no sense without the knowledge from playing it through.

Bioshock - the first one.

Apparently that Fort Frolic level was designed by the same guy that did the famous 'The Cradle' level from Thief. What a masterpiece!
Cheers,i only just started Bioshock, so look forward to seeing what is instore for me, great start to game.

Finished both of these off now, and what a cracking set of games they were, thoroughly enjoyed em.

Going to start the DLCs now, but looks like i'll have to buy the Remastered version of Minervas Den, as i didn't have that with the original, so didn't get the Remaster of it for free, only got the original :p, and then its onto Infinite! :D

EDIT: Seems i havn't even got the original Minervas Den, as doesn't do anything when i select it to play, only the Protector Trials does :p

So you’ve played BS1 & 2 remastered?

Did you have any technical issues like crashes and such or was it seamless for you?
