Bioshock: The Collection - HD Remastered

A patch is apparently inbound to sort some of the basic mouse, sound and 21:9 and fov issues people are having.

BUT, any one know the ini tweaks or have a link for detailing maxing out the graphics as much as possible please. Apparently there are some that can be set to 'ultra' but I don't know what the specific commands need to be, or where in the bioshock ini or user ini to make the changes....

I didn't notice about the audio either as of late I've been wearing my wireless void headphones. Mancave has the 5.1 set up but as it's not heated I'll probably be next spring before I re open it.

Anyone want to try Bioshock 1 (I've found my original DVD room and key) to get the remastered game on Steam hit me up. I re purchased the full set a while back and DVD Rom version isn't used. Obviously steam and 2k will need photos. I can supply.

Got bioshock triple pack while back when on promo, just started to play now with the remaster editions. Enjoying the game thoroughly.

Not as default in Bioshock 2 (not tested one). You may be able to manually do it however.

Thanks, I'll give it a try as I only played it a few weeks back so would be good to get all the 'cheevs pop without having to play it again so soon, but have a feeling it wont be that easy :D.

I'm nearing the end of BS1 and have to say its not as good as I remembered. Its good, but I enjoyed playing through BS2 a few weeks back a lot more. The combat is a lot more fun imo.

Amazing games the first 2 Bioshocks, with keyboard and mouse. Not so good with the gamepad as the default bindings were utterly retarded and counter intuitive and as always, they couldn't be changed around.

I only game sitting back comfortably with gamepad these days as repetitive strain injury from overuse of computers has set in....

....I don't suppose they have changed the gamepad bindings to something a bit more feasible, such as the Bioshock Infinite mappings?

This will be the fourth day of waiting now for me - I've sent quite a few more emails/web updates but no reply other than the first reply asking for the photo.

That's disappointing. I did the same as an original bioshock DVD owner and got a reply and steam key in less than 24 hours. This was the day before the remaster was released though. Perhaps they're swamped with requests?

Yeah they're probably being hammered I guess. I was hoping to play it this weekend.

This game is really dissapointing, the original game looks better with lighting on surfaces, water in general. This remake crashes, loses half of the options and honestly looks worse.

The sound is also flat and loses all its dynamic range compared to the original, the only improved bits seem to be higher polygon counts in some areas.

Not sure why they bothered....

Exactly my thoughts.

WTF?!? This game is messed up . I looked around for an audio diary to explain this but couldn't find one.
