Saw this for £4 on cdkeys and thought... it must be worth slightly less than a Starbucks.
It has issues - a stupidly big base that you walk around at a snail's pace is my biggest issue - but I'm enjoying it.
It looks really nice and runs incredibly smoothly.
Definitely had a latte's value out of it
In today's "turn that server off" climate, I'm amazed you can still play it!

I liked the game, but within 10 hours of gameplay you realise there's not really much to do. A lack of content was what killed this game, everything else was great...well other than the usual 5 people per city that EA games have. It really does kill immersion.A blast from the past!

I had a lot of fun exploring the world of Anthem and in general it looked amazing and ran well, the story was fairly brief but enjoyable enough and the post game content was okay, but limited. But what time I did put into the game I enjoyed a lot, it's a shame it didn't make.

Anthem's biggest issue was there was just not much to it

It ran like garbage for most people at launch. Only runs now because hardware is significantly better.The biggest issue was using the frostbite engine. It pains me to see Anthem mentioned again, it should have been amazing ffs
Such a weird decision, in a looter-shooter, to not let you change gear or even see your drops until you finish the 'mission'.
Have to disagree, one of the single most annoying things about most looter shooters is waiting around while people decide swap gear out mid mission, Anthem solved it in a single design choice and I could not have been happier about it and absolutely wish more games would follow suit.
Unfortunately it also means you can't empty your bag of crap in mission too.
Good, another thing players should not be doing when they're in a mission.
Glad I didn't buy the game.

"Deeply appreciate you all so much we are going to **** you over with no attempt to make the game playable in any other way but hey here is our other game you can play which is completely different to the game you enjoy"...
Glad I stopped buying EA stuff years ago and never got into Anthem.
"We got your money after deceive you in 2019, now we are going permanently shut down the game!"

Frostbite is terrible, it also ruined the gameplay of Fifa, it was never the same after that. It's absolute dogwater now.
