yeah got my email late last night also. need to get it installed tonight hopefully will be able to get on.
 
Just got mine too, gonna be a busy weekend, this, new poe league & drg.

Anyone planning to use the oc discord for it? maybe we can ask for a voice channel or 2 for the weekend.
 
I can't work out how these timeslots work, are they going to be 5 hours at a time?

If you start on the 9am one, does it kick you off when the 2pm starts? Can anyone see any further information on this?
 

UK times for Saturday and Sunday

1st session start time 3pm
1st session end time 6pm

2nd session start time 8pm
2nd session end time 11pm

The purpose of testing is to find and eliminate anything that isn't working as intended. Whether that is to do with log ins or gameplay.

You can't complain that the test is providing devs feedback they can work with to ensure the game is stable at launch.

I would rather they gather as many bugs and errors as they can now than be dealing with them once the paid product launches.

If you don't want to be a guinea pig then don't sign up for alpha testing. :o
 
It would be good to actually test it but clearly they oversubscribed on this 'alpha' given how many people have access. The servers have s*** the bed.

I'm sure that stress testing the log in servers and everything associated with accessing the game is a part of the Alpha.

Anything that breaks now is good for anyone wanting to buy a functional game later.

The problem is you can’t even log a report on it as their feedback forum is also knackered.
 
Right I briefly managed to get on the feedback forums and there was a post flagging they had been removed from the first slot of the test, checked my playtest login and it looks I was too, possibly the reason why we can't login but would have been good if they updated me on that as it originally had all 4 slots.
