i would have saved the bird , probably give it to the rspca. besides the cat would have killed it for fun , not for dinner unless your cat is starving

I think you'll find the RSPCA will refer it to the RSPB and they will put the OP straight through to the "give a ****" department where he can get advice from a Bleeding Heart technician...

NEITHER YOU EVIL BUGGER... call the bloody RSPCA, it could just bea broken wing in which case they can have it flying again in under 2 weeks...

I was gonna rant about the declining population of birds in the UK - but no one gives a damn so I won't.

you must have a real bad rspca office in your area hell i rescued a hedgehog that had singed its feet and nose in a bush fire a few years ago, they came out for that too...
