It isn't a game everyone can play though.
Exactly.
Your move, Government.
It isn't a game everyone can play though.
thats not right surely?
Passed governments have a lot to answer for, they almost signal handily ruined a lot of industry/areas and made living on benefits a way of life add in immigration working 40 hours to bring home £200 a week vs doing nothing and getting just as much in benefits, is sickening. I know a Latvian bloke that has lived and worked here for 4 years and he get got a temp job over Christmas earning £180 a week and after petrol and living costs he was about £10 better off compared to benefits.
Stopping benefits is the only answer, forcing people to work to feed your family is the only option.
No doubt this comes under EU rules and human rights.
If you have a physical / mental issue, fair enough, but if there are other members of the family who can work...they should work quite frankly
I would burn the chavs.
- My Dad has a really bad knee and struggles to walk long distances. Yet I see young people swanning around putting their disabled badge up when they park.
I think you should only be able to use one when you have a disabled person with you, or they are the driver. But then enforcing that is another thing.
so i see all the rage here.. and i sort of understand.. but then again.. we will all pay the same taxes we are paying now.. and the money will still go somewhere and we probably won't even notice.. so whats the point in the all the "rage"

You cant assume its not their badge. It usually wont be, but I have a friend with mental issues who is entitled to a badge and could run a marathon tomorrow if required. Just because you cant see the reason they have the badge doesn't mean they are not entitled to it.
No you are totally right...
That's the reason I'd never challenge anyone when they stick a disabled badge up and don't look disabled, as they may have a disability that isn't obvious.
Like I said though, the sheer number of them I've seen in North London and the fact that many of them are locked to the steering wheel says to me that they are a sought after parking permit, which they will try their best to fiddle to get one...
Most of the time it's probably the case that the car is registered to an elderly family member who is obviously entitled to one... however the whole family will use the car and park where they want, even though they don't have the relative.
On a secondary note though...
Surely the purpose of a disabled badge is to assist somebody who is disabled, in which case it should be obvious. I accept that there are some conditions that can be deliberating that aren't obvious, but if you had a mental illness, you most likely wouldn't be fit to drive in the first place.
This is why I, and I'm sure plenty of others always look at an able bodied person getting out of a 'disabled' car with question.
A WIGAN couple are calling for changes to disabled parking laws to improve mobility for people recovering from broken bones.
Andy and Sarah Brown, of Ashwood Avenue, Abram, believe temporary disabled parking badges should be issued to injured patients to ensure they can park safely near shops and supermarkets during their recovery.
Sarah, who dislocated her knee on New Year’s Eve, says she has been unable to visit some stores with her husband Andy because they do not have a blue badge to display.
Sarah, 30, said: “It’s very frustrating. I can’t go anywhere because we have nowhere to park. The injury means I’m unable to get out of the car without opening the door fully. But disabled bays are the only spaces with enough room to do so.

The whole corrupt system is surely going to come crashing down eventually.
I find EMA even more disturbing than benefits.
There are so many people that just attend to get there EMA at college , it is just absolutely shocking.
However there are a few genuinely hard working individuals that do get EMA but they are a very small minority.
Good job they scraped it through, but next year it is going to be a nerdfest.
