BitFenix Prodigy Mini-ITX Cube Case

With a new modular PSU... still tight space to work in! lol

Doesn't help that I decided to use my braided cables even though you can't see them once the sides are on the case! ha

Has anyone put an LED fan in the front? If so can it be seen through the grills at the front? I was hoping for some super subtle lighting for the grills.

Also going to put a shameless plug for my watercooled build log in here for those that haven't seen it http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18423195 :D

You would be able to see fan lights through the front.

the whit case has a solid front so it wouldn't have the same effect as the black which is a meshed front

I think the next time I'm in the case I'll remove the braided extensions to tidy things up a bit - no need for them in a case with no windows anyway.

F*&k it - gonna sort out the cables some more now!

lol felt the same but when i open my case i love seeing my cables :) plus i like to show it off to friends and interested family!

Loving these prodigy builds.

Once I'm finished with my main rig I am planning a watercooled prodigy, but the watercooling is all external, it's already in place because I can simply add the cpu/gpu to my current loop. The prodigy build will be this 2700k + hopefully a gtx660 if it fairs well in power/performance, and will be for folding.

The problem I have is how to get the tubing into the case because as far as I can see there's no wc grommets? The best I have come up with is something like mnpctech's '"Steampunk" 240 Radiator & Fan Grill' mounted in the roof and pass the tubing through one end, fan on the other. could get dusty though :/

I'd rather not dremel something into the underside which would seem the logical choice, lol.

24 pin, CPU 8 pin and CPU 4+4 pin are non modular.

Sata cable x 1 connected
Molex cable x 1 connected
PCI cables x 2 connected

I also have a bitfenix molex to 3 fan connectors to run the fans at 7 volts. Off those 3 connectors I have a fan splitter in each so I can run all the fans at 7v (6fans).

:)

I'm having a nightmare. my crimpers arrived but where slightly twisted, still useable but annoying, so i'm getting a replacement set.

I think I'm just going to put it together with the corsair modular cables I have for the minute until I get all the wires done.

Just so I can post a pic really, as there aren't any white ones in this thread yet.

I'm also not going to bother with a GFX card for now.
And I'm going to go with a lower powered CPU
I was going to use it as my main rig. But now i'm just gonna keep it for web browsing and media, and keep my other rig for gaming.

I might get one of these too.
