NCIX has in stock...how on earth only 129,99$ CANADIAN? That's a lot less then 139,99€....Why is EUROPEAN consumer always ripped off? :)

BTW, I do have an update on the Shinobi XL window (And I think "98%" of you will like the announcement)
 
xbournex: can you elaborate on canadian price and ours european price? who takes that difference in price?

in USA 140$ = 106€ , in EU 139,90 ...just 30% expensive
in CANADA 130CDN $ = 99€ !!!!! again 30%

in UK 139,90Ł = 167€

so between CANADIAN and UK price is whooping 67€ difference....around 67%, why?
 
That is a pretty huge price difference. I was thinking it would have something to do with tax or something, but can't quite work it out...

Also, xbourne, are you suggesting that there will be two windowed versions of the case?

And is the Soft touch just applied on top front and side panels? Or is it rear and interior as well?

If the raider and shinobi (and their other cases) are anything to go by, I would say:

SofTouch is only on the top and front panels.

The rear and side panels are just the standard metal spray painted in black (thankfully the XL seems to have thicker side panels according to a few videos, one of the biggest gripes with the Raider IMO)

And the black interior is the same pretty much as the side panels, but a smoother finish.


Also, I will hazard a guess that they have got 2 extra versions of the XL, one with the fan grill and one with just a standard window OR just the windowed/fan grill side panel for sale! Right? :D

It does seem they have found a solution to the window which is nice.

Bit intrigued by the side panels, and how hard they'd be to respray, read a thread elsewhere that basically said it would be impossible to respray the side panel, because it would be really hard to get a colour match with the softouch

Softouch placement is the same with the mid tower Shinobi.

We're gonna let Tom announce the windows and all it's jazz.

Case king are the exception as they own OcUK. Confirmed it with 5Ub the other day.

Do you know when the review is going live? :)
