Black Desert Online

I'm stuck with a constant display of keys to the right of my character now, no idea how to turn it off :D

Ah, fixed - combo indicator, able to hide it on the UI customisation screen.

Well, based on a very confused evening's play, this is an instant buy for me. For the first time in literally years, I was able to do my very peculiar test of mmo greatness - look for a nearby mountain and climb to the top of it. They're usually either a painted on skybox or an excuse for a zone border. Not here, was able to scramble all the way to the top and look out for miles on the landscape, and I have no doubt I can get to everywhere I can see.

That's what an MMO should be about :)

Quests don't give you XP after something like level 10 ish, you get XP from killing mobs instead.

I've been plodding along doing the quests as they lead me all over the map and stopping to grind on red mobs for a level or two every so often. There are plenty of spots where there are loads of them in close proximity so you can continuously gather groups of them up and AOE them down.

Loving the fact you can name your animals, my hawk is called wingo starr and my donkey is dominic :D

Am trying a range of classes but so far enjoying Sorc the most.

Am on Alustin, family name 'Darkseed'

Character names
Saoryn
Laerissia
Lacutis
Aerissia

Great if you're an AoE spec, really crap if you're not. I keep getting mobs nicked off me and reward is based on damage not tagging. The first Saturday morning of release exacerbates it I suppose.
