Black Friday Deals

Nike has 25% off the majority of their site for members, including sale items.
Grabbed some trainers and clothing.

I'd be interested in knowing if anyone has purchased something on Black Friday in the past, then found the item was cheaper either in the weeks leading up to it or by the January sales that followed.

The duvet we bought a few months ago is currently on a Black Friday deal and it's £20 more than we paid for it.

I've not seen many Black Friday deals that get me hooked or even tempt me. EDIT: I did buy the portal bundle on Steam for not much over a quid :p

All the time, just check hotukdeals and you'll often see prior deals and many beat the BF prices.

I got some on Monday, but notice they have the Vaporfly NEXT% 2 with 40% off and aff another 25% is would be like £101. For a £225 shoe originally. Good deal, except i don't run. lol

Everyone keeps going on about Air fryers therefore I need to buy one to join the cool gang.
Air fryers are only advisable if you are going to use them at least 3 times a week for about 15 months - or after about 140 uses. As takes that time to get the money back on your AF to the cost of electricity saved.

Problem is that some people will buy them and can't be doing with it, takes longer to wash up etc. Then put AF into the cupboard along with bread maker, pasta maker, waffle iron etc,

if its something on Amazon, use camelcamelcamel for price history. Plus can set up e-mail alerts if certain thing(s) go on offer. Used that for my Kindle Oasis, which I bought in Argos instead as had a £50 gift card. Same price too.

Posted in lego thread too but you can get the Lego Bowser set down from £230 to £124 with delivery via Very if you open a credit account for a 20% first order discount.

My son doesn't play basketball but still wants and wears Air Jordan 36's - also typically the only colour not in the sale

Spoke too soon, I bought one more pair …about half price after 40% off and then further 25% so down to £80

Figure it’s just shoes, I’ll get through them like toilet rolls anyway.

Got a Tile Mate key fob finder thingy coming today. Wasn't exactly a huge bargain at £15, more of an impulse purchase to use on my car keys.

I bought a BenQ MOBIUZ EX3415R 34 Inch for sub £500, looking forward to moving to an IPS panel from my aging VA screen that's developed quite a bit of light bleed at the bottom.

Was determined to not be sucked in by Black Friday hysteria, I did relent and purchase an Argon EON NAS Enclosure for one of my PI 4's to reside in though. 20% off seemed a reasonable incentive.
