Black Friday Deals

It's not like it's the first ever BF. Maybe just look back over 12 months and you will actually be able to see if this happens...

Personally, if it's been that cheap earlier in the year, that's not a reason not to buy it. This isn't the only sale that ever happens.

Literally, the first BF item I saw on opening Amazon, I clicked -

So, last year it did drop lower the BF for a week in the January sales and a few days in April, but all 350 other days it was a lot more. I don't really see how it's a 'scam' or someone should not buy it now, just because it has been 8% cheaper before and likely will be again.

Yes, if you have no need for it, you're a bit silly, but it's still a good price.

**EDIT** Second Item -

Totally randomly picked...
But thats the point, its not a good price, it the same price or sometimes even more expensive than its been in the past, BH is just another day for retailers.

As an ex retailer the best day to get bargains is always boxing day and the lead up to the new year. Thats when retailers like I used to be really really need to shift stock for the new seasons ahead.

Yes it is a good price. It might not be it's 'best ever price', but it's still a good price. You even say 'sometimes more expensive than it's been in the past' which by definition says conversely sometimes it's never been this cheap. How can that not be a good time to buy?

As I said before, also with so many items being at either the lowest they've ever been or lower than they have been for most of the year, it makes sense to wait for BF to see if what you need will go cheaper.

As a first generation Black Friday survivor I was victim to a broken down washing machine and needed to buy a new one. Fortunately I got a good deal on a Samsung model. But the scars remain.

Bought an Oral B toothbrush from Lloyd's online, BF special at £38.

While I was browsing, noticed an £800 model on Amazon.

W.T.F, nearly a grand for a ****** toothbrush!?!

As a lower earner Id expect you to be blind to taste and excellence.
But thanks for the tip. As a higher earner I picked one up immediately.

Can someone find me a good heat pump tumble dryer deal please? Was thinking large appliances might have some acceptable deals, I know tech deals are rubbish on BF these days but thought stuff like this might be OK.
there aren't deals because everyone wants them and air fryers .. versus tv's / computers. ... Iphone production is down though/strikes, which may be opportune

I pulled the trigger on that in the end. Been holding out for a deal on a Nilfisk P200, but cheapest with accessories is £550 at the moment and it could be had from Costco for £380 over the summer. This should tide me over until I upgrade. Bargain at £150 considering the accessories.

I've always thought Gtech looks like garbage. Never really see any reviews or much chat about them. It's all shark shark shark.

Not saying they are garbage, just like like it
Am a bit of a Gtech fan. Been using there airram vacuum cleaners for many years
There Mk1 airram cleaner we had lasted about 8 years (The battery failed in the end)

But i don't think the newer MK2 airram is anywhere near as strong as the MK1 was
