Black Friday Deals

Tyson were ok for bosch vacuum I'd bought -

if you can buy a 5 yr warranty extension though at LG direct ?- albeit if you want to exploit the 0% over 3 years, the interest you benefit from offsets the £100 tyson premium, too.
(do they have a 5yr warranty because people may take it on 3yrs0% ... after all you'd be on to finance company if it packed in)

Can’t imagine any tv that’s £150 brand new to be any good.
Depends on how many they're selling at that price, and how heavy they are willing to discount it.

Something to remember with a lot of Amazon's hardware is they're likely looking at it a bit like printers, you get the hardware subsidised even at "full" retail because it ties you into their eco system more, but also for amazon's own brand stuff they can likely get good discounts on manufacturing and the shipping etc are going to be extremely streamlined as Amazon can basically handle everything from the factory door to your door without involving many/any other companies (IIRC their logistics network is one of the biggest in the world and involves entire cargo ships of goods so they can if they want/need to send a ship to any port that can handle it, not just the popular and more expensive ones).

what was bad with the peter tyson oled deal I posted earlier 3 year interest free it suggests
Thanks man, really appreciate that. Was over thinking TV purchase choice and had resigned myself to the Samsung because of the purchase offer. I really wanted an OLED so this has solved several problems.

Just ordered, hopefully I can get it by Tuesday :D

It was a marketing ploy to get people to sub to Prime. The HotUKDeals thread has a handful of who got an email to buy one. It was basically a legal scam. More chance of getting lottery numbers.

It was a far better telly than the battle of blaupunkt of years gone by but I guess at least you could get your hands on one of those if you punched someone in the mouth.

Is that a deal? Seems expensive for a 1TB drive, in May this year I got a 2TB 970 EVO Plus for £76.
pretty sure it's a new drive that hasn't been out long and probably the fastest on the market

seen one ***elsewhere*** for less than he paid though so :S

Did anyone manage to get an invite for one of those 55" Amazon TV's for 150 notes?

Amazon most likely had about 10 of them and 50,000 enquiries.
I requested an invite because it seemed like a great deal but had a look at a couple of reviews online afterwards, it’s worth the price if you don’t mind switching HDR off (was the jist).

Edit: just got the confirmation email, they ran out of invites.

I'd love to know their eligibility or exact amount of stock they were holding on hand for this deal.

Got an email from amazon there about 8pm for the 55" tv saying "due to the huge popularity we have ran out of invites" so looks like thats it all done. Ah well

@Whitewater should have read a couple of posts above me my bad :D
