This mod like Half life in general is dead, while fans like myself love the game I'm pretty ****ed at how the franchise has been left.

At least the peeps working on this mod (always had an eye one since its conception pre HL2 release) have good reason for taking there time that they have full time jobs :). I think the lead was the head of art at Cryptic Studios or something

Kinda makes you appreciate how long it's been since the original came out, let alone half life 2! :p

Aye, but this time it is close to completion. As said in that thread though, it is only the first release and Xen will come later. At least it's not reached DNF level yet?

Has anybody noticed the countdowns ETA?
The timer expires at 8:47am.. the current time mentioned while you're riding the tram at the beginning of Half Life 1.

to be fair this news deserves it's own thread it's just a shame the OP didn't put more effort into making it a worthy one ;) :eek:
 
So it has a release date, except it's not finished, so they're releasing part of the game but without the actual end?
