Black Panther: Wakanda Forever

Watched last night and didn't mind the 1st film but this is trash, like a very poor mans Aquaman\Avatar mash

2\10 being generous, the acting was terrible by everyone, don't think anyone was better than crap.
 
Watched it for the second time this week on D+. I can't recall the rating I gave after the 1st watch, but I will keep it the same. Second time round I found Shuri even more unplausible as the new Black Panther. But conversely I felt like the acting from Angela Basset was really good. Maybe a justified nomination for best supporting actress. M'baku is even funnier second time round, but the generic blue bad guys just felt even more rubbish on second viewing.

Thought it was ok/10 (maybe 5/6). It did seem to drag, I’m sure a few bits could have been cut out. The Atlantean motivation for attacking Wakanda didn’t make that much sense to me.
 
Finally got round to watching this giving it a chance and was just disappointed. Down there with Thor L&T. 3/10.

Feel like Namor had so much potential and he flopped massively. Whole story/motivations were weak with some poor acting. The downward trend continues from Marvel
 
Watched this recently, over 3 nights! Started watching it and had to switch it off after about 45 minutes as I was so bored. A couple of nights later I decided to carry on where I left off as I wanted make sure I watched it as part of the overall MCU, but again switched it off after about another 30 minutes. Then last night I forced myself to watch the remainder.

It was a very poor movie overall, really poor script/plot and generally bad acting.

It's about an hour/45 minutes too long for me.
If it was shorter I would have thought it was fine but with the bloated run time I was just bored by the end waiting for it to finish.
I think I'm a bit marveld out now to be honest though.

Watched it last night....it dragged....after what i thought was a good length i paused to go for a wee only to see there was an hour of 20mins left!

It just went on too long and have to mark it down for that because i felt it.

It's probably one of the worse MCU one of the lot, totally generic story wise and forgettable. At least Thor Love and Thunder gave me a few laughs, this had none, nor the tension.

Ive given up completely with marvel films.
Too many. Too samey, and just not good enough.

Some of the ones I watched last were ridiculous. But not in a good way. Absolutely filled with bad jokes.

The whole universe just feels like Disney is spamming films to get people onto D+


Its gotten to the point I don't even watch the trailers. I used to love the early marvel, I guess end game is the last film I watched. But somewhere between infinity war and end game I lost interest.

Captain marvel and thor 3 were noteable in my head for killing off my interest

In the previous phase even the more forgetful marvel movies seemed all pointing towards avengers/end game however. With the new ones not having that over arching story arc there's not much need to watch they mediocre marvel ones now.

It might seem this way in hindsight, but at the time they were very tenuously connected.

Avengers 2 did a lot of the heavy lifting actually, despite being a bit of a mess.

I share a lot of the feelings with other recent commenters. It was long and largely dull. I found it hard to get invested. We had lots of shots that aped better movies where real emotional engagement existed that felt a bit hollow in this film. The only film in Phase 4 that was what I used to think of as MCU standard was No Way Home the rest were a bit of a disappointment in one way or other. With Dr Strange being the only other genuinely good film in Phase 4 with so much meh.
