Black pudding

I love black puddin.... especially with sausage, bacon, egg and cheese on thich fresh bread... yummy!

I mainly eat BP un-cooked... or at worst nuked in the microwave along with the entire sandwich...

and now I have a craving for BP so I'm off to the shops....

Thumbs up here.

My uncle does black pudding stuffing which we have for Xmas turkey if we're round there which is tastes like black, bloody drops of heaven.

You want to go down to Bury Market (Lancashire) and see how much black pudding is sold on the black pudding stall! You also want to see the number of children in pushchairs eating it with their hands.

my hands? but they're right here with me

What is white pudding? Sounds like a euphemism for a Bombay roll [which is, in itself, a euphemism]. I'm only asking because I can't be bothered to look it up.

Never tried the stuff and I don't think I ever want to. Its in the same boat as Haggis for me, in that its made of animals bits I don't want to eat :D

Watched them making it on a Gordon Ramsay's TV show last night (first time watching, honest! :D ). It was quite interesting. For the record, I do like black pudding - never had white pudding though. What do they use instead of blood?

They use the same ingredients, they just leave the dirty blood out. Much better :)

lol bury market isnt all it's hyped up to be and not to mention the fact i hate BP anyway :p

Black pudding is ace... as is white pudding and haggis.

Mmmmnn... Full english with black pudding, white pudding and haggis would be welcome right now I tell thee.

Its great.

People who are too ponsey to try have no opinion. I forced someone to try it at uni and they said it wasnt half bad actually.

Always needs to be part of a real breakfast.. half of the cafes and restaurants dont serve it on their breakfasts..ridiculous. Our union does and its awesome wakeup call for a lecture!!

Also i heard you werent allowed to call it black pudding? its "butchers" pudding..

Baloney!!!

food of the gods

great in a full breakfast

sublime in a nice salad with some buttery new potatoes

delcious mashed up in some mashed potato and served with a nice sirloin, some mushrooms and grilled tomato

dont let what its made of put you off...as far as I'm concerned if something tastes good,it IS good regardless of whats in it
you should always give something a try before dismissing it..at least if you try something and you dont like it, at least you can speak from experience..everybody has different tastes, but dont restrict yourself just because it doesnt sound very nice
