Black pudding

ok, I'm back, stomarchs full of black pudding and you lot made me hungry again :mad:
Some things should never be allowed to be talked about on a forum... :D:p;)

BP = tasty
WP = tasty

But why no mention of Fruit pudding so far?

Fruit pudding = tasty .

All as part of a fry up. A Black pudding and tattie scone on a roll goes down a treat with red sauce on.

Black pudding also known as pig pudding here in OCUK land.
I usually have it when I go for a meal and have a mixed grill.
For a lad that was bought up on lard and sugar butties, pig pudding was a delicacy (not forgetting my runny egg and soldiers).

Might I also add dripping on toast to this cardiac arrest inducing thread? You couldn't beat the beef dripping from Stoke's old indoor market, before it burnt down that is.

A well made Black Pudding is a very nice accompaniment to a meal (although it is rather unhealthy I gather, so I don't eat it too often).

People who simply dislike a food due to how it is made (and act like the food tastes bad) annoy me. People seem to always say "Black Pudding is awful", when what they mean is: "I dislike the way in which Black Pudding is made; I cannot comment on the taste as I have never tried it".

Foie gras is so nice i cant believe you refuse to eat it

I've had tastes of others' fois gras in quite a few restaurants and it doesn't excite me. The idea of some goose being forcefed to its death doesn't do anything more to endear it to me.

cant have an english breakfast without it, white pudding is also nice but a little bit spicy for the morning"

I like to think of this area as the quiet part rather than the posh. Anyway, does Stoke even have a posh area? :D

When I go abroad and people ask where I come from I tell them I live in a village called Heron Cross (technically I'm in Blurton but Heron Cross sounds posher).

Yeah people always say bad stuff about it but they've never had it themselves.. "eww its pigs blood etc". Don't knock it till you've tried it! I <3 it BTW :)
