The last time I had so much fun on a SP FPS was Call of Duty 2. I enjoyed it more than HL2 and Halo 2. Haven't played it for nearly 2 weeks now though. Uni project to do

And yea, intros are incredibly annoying. Other than that, fantastic game. I give it 8/10

I found the controls great. ALmost as good as COD2 and certainly better than PDZ. To me its a very similar game to COD2. Run around fairly linear levels killing waves and waves of enemies, although at least it doesnt have the unlimited enemie spawning like certain sections of COD2. Its not quite as run and gun as the reviews would have you believe though. The checkpoints are so far apart you really need to use cover and occasionally stealth because if you get killed you're replaying 20 or 30 minutes worth of a level! Its also been criticised for the number of shots required to kill an ememy, but again i'd say its similar to cod2 or far cry. You can see that most enemies are wearing body armour so take time aiming from cover and go for headshots for one shot kills.

I've just finished the bridge level which was awesome (m203 with loads of ammo + M16, a mined bridge and buses making roadblocks

), so just one level to go I think. I've really enjoyed it and will be replaying it back at a harder level, although I'll probably wait a while to see if X360 compatability comes through as it really needs some AA on my screen.

Well by all accounts this seems like a perfect game for me. Luckily I went out and rented it and didn't buy it straight off and I'm glad I did.

I just don't like it, I can't put my figure on why but I don't.

The AI is stupid I find, the number of things you can shoot which blow up is ridiculous and for some strange reason the bad guys insist on stand around these?! Good plan!

And it definately takes too many shots to kill someone, it's just frustrating sometimes.

Worth a rent but no more imo.

Yer I know but there's times when you run round a corner and they're right in your face, you panic and don't have time to air at the face so unload a clip from an ak into their body and boom, they're still alive... huh?!

Anyway I've just finished the game on Normal and I have no desire what-so-ever of replaying it. I'm really gutted actually as I was looking forward to this game. Anyway I can't complain that I've had 8hours of free entertainment from Blockbuster (thanks Necter!). Only got the game yester evening, it's pretty short...

What's this Silver Weapons thing anyway?
