Looking on O2 this morning and their deals don't look terrible.

As I only really text and call one person lol I'm tempted by the £21.50pm and £105 for the handset over 24 months, making it about £620 over 2 years which isn't bad. Plus can get £50 from Quidco back I think.

Congrats Robbo....welcome to the world of crackberry lol:p...still in 2 minds about getting the 9900...might wait and see what comes out next yr...decisions decisions lol..my 9780 is doing a great job for me so might hang onto it till the next set of BB's are out or might wait to see if the 9900 drops in price.

So far, I really like it. My SIM isn't activated yet so I can't do an awful lot with it phone-wise. I think I'll get it unlocked (if it isn't already) for the moment.

The device feels very premium, much like the iPhone 4. You can tell it's a quality bit of kit. It looks very wide when you actually hold it, but it's only very slightly wider than the iPhone.

The screen is superb, again it's very much like the iPhone 4 screen, extremely crisp and almost AMOLED-like colour reproduction. The keyboard is very nice, but will no doubt take some getting used to.

The phone itself is blazingly fast, I haven't seen a loading screen for anything yet (except the boot up one)! I think the software itself looks very nice and I really don't see why people are calling it 'ancient', Symbian feels ancient, this doesn't.

The camera seems fairly good considering it's EDoF but again, I've not really tested things properly yet. I'll post more later on.

I haven't really finished setting it up properly, nor have I delved into the features, but the first thing I checked is OCUK in the browser and it's VERY good! :p

There is much reading and fiddling to be done! :D

I wasn't expecting to get a leather case with it (and it's a nice one, too)! :p

It's a holster :p

It's kind of a Blackberry trademark having the holsters. They always used to have a magnet in them which meant the device knows when it's in the holster so that it can turn the screen off automatically and also allows you to set different profiles for in and out of holster.

Just don't slip things like train tickets or other things with weak mag strips (those hotel key cards as well) in the case as it'll kill them :p

Not sure if this is still the case with the 9900.
