Exceptions to Distance Selling Regulations (2000) - You do not have the right to cancel the contract under the Distance Selling Act if you have collected goods or if the order is for computer software which has been unsealed, or if you are not a consumer i.e. a company, partnership, sole trader or any other commercial body or registered charity.

I think that's the part they're getting at....so because I took delivery at work I can't use DSR...that's ******** I'm complaining to the management. I'm a consumer, not a business, this stuff is for my own rig which lives in my bedroom.

It does not matter where you have your goods delivered to. What matters is whether you ordered through a personal account or a business account. If your name heads the OcUK account rather than "Widgets UK Ltd", or if you have payed via a personal credit card or retail bank account, the agreement can be considered a consumer agreement and full DSR terms apply.

If however, you ordered with a business credit card and had it sent to "Widgets UK Limited", you are stiffed.

If you ordered with a personal credit card just explain this to OcUK and they can have no argument. You can always contact your credit card company and get them to issue a charge-back (they recover the money and issue a black mark against the retailer) if they refuse.

Always pay by personal Credit Card, rather than Debit Card, paypal or cash. You are covered for almost anything with Credit Card purchases, and most give you 30-60 days to pay it back interest free. Some even give you 1-2% cashback.

Right I've asked management for some leniency though I know there's not much reason for them to show it as I've been a moron.

Back to the build and yea, no delivery yesterday so it should hopefully be Monday :)
