US: Blacklist

Good riddance. It could have been so much more but it seems the writers lacked vision, and instead of building on the premise decided to turn it into a formulaic US cop show bent on repeating itself.

Glad that its ending, Spader has been brilliant in it.

Has been a great show over the years, but lost it way a little bit towards the end i guess.

You beat me to it, its kinda lost its novelty and ran way too long. Its laboured too much on whether Red was Liz's Dad to the point of the audience doesnt care.

Anything past season 3 was a chore to get through but once you invest in a set of characters it does become difficult to stop watching, even when the quality drops so much.

Never get tired of hearing Raymond telling his stories as he doing something bad or he threatening someone lol. Brilliant .

All in all, it is a good show. RR is so well written and acted.

Good episode this week. Is it a double episode to finish next week?

Spader was the only single thing that kept me watching this as the quality dropped off a cliff post season 3 which was a great season for me (maybe it dropped off earlier for some - certainly Megan Boons IRL pregnancy didn't help). I think he was wasted in the show but RR and Spader's performance of him were deserving far higher "professional" recognition I feel as, despite lots of nominations, he didn't win anything.

Hmm, I thought it was going reasonably well until... Red was gored by a bull?!?! That feels more like some kind of joke ending, surely?

I assume we were to take it from that doctor that Red was dying? (I wasn't sure if that was just a comment on he gave soooo much blood.) Did we get told that for sure anywhere else? Did we know why?

It's a shame as a good ending could have swung it a little for me. As it is, average show with a great character and poor ending.
