About to sell along with the rest of my setup, Just waiting for the buyer/s. The money is going on baby stuff, I've signed out of PC gaming. Unless prices for decent performance re-enter sane territory I won't be PC gaming again as investing in family now takes top priority.

We're both in our 30's and she doesn't want to risk waiting longer as the dangers for women once in their 30's mount up quickly. It's something we both talked about at length.

I want to be at least a little bit financially prepared, Also I've fallen out of love with PC gaming, The spark is gone.

Thats the way it goes.... and in my experience it never comes back the same way again as when you had time/money/groundbreaking games/affordable gear/no misses.

Then your kids get into gaming and half your gaming time at least is with them and the gaming bug comes back in a different way.

Nothing's happening until next year but for me at least, Play time is over.

I been there and learned the hard way myself about 20 years ago :(

Sold off just about everything I owned of value because she wanted us to buy a flat and have kids.
About a month or so after I sold everything for a lot less then they were worth she ran off with someone else

Damn, sorry to hear that. Well I'm not selling off everything, I will be using an Asus Zephyrus with 6800HS/6800S as my main device for emails, Documents etc... so I can game if I really want to but as I do so little gaming it makes no sense to leave quickly depreciating money on the table.

Do you guys reckon most hardcore PC gamers that would paid these high GPU prices are middle age or older as all the younger people i know are only console gamers

I'll assume most hardcore gamers willing to shell out on the high gpu prices are either well paid respective to their age. Or above 35 for the most part for sure, or in my case just without the burden of a partner or family to look after.

From my small sample size most kids are more into mobile gaming now than console, or they've seen lots of streamers with dedicated PC's and have semi decent basic setups considering their age groups. Supplied by the bank of mum and dad. My parents should thank the gods I was into console gaming growing up
