Blackwell sacked

Hoddle & Keegan are in the frame n'all.

Gilly, what about Dennis Wise as the new coach? Doing a good job with Swindon and he's one of Bates' Boys....

Wouldn't want any of those 3.

Curbishley is easily the best choice. If he doesn't do it then maybe Sanchez might be an idea, after all he gets Healy playing.

Hoddle is rubbish, Keegan needs money and Dennis Wise is a **** :p

Agreed in full.

Although O'Leary's name has been mentioned, but can't see it happening really.

There's not many sides in the Champ bigger than WBA. Leeds, Brum, maybe Sunderland and those two aren't going to be changing managers any time soon.

You wouldnt say Wolves were a big club?

Playing staff maybe not but they are def bigger than WBA, bigger fanbase and stadium

Wolves have sold a hell of a lot of good players before this season but are still one of the biggest clubs in the Midlands

I didn't mention the fans :)

Fact is come the end of this season Leeds are going to have a lot of money, WBA already have a very good squad, as do Brum and Sunderland. Thats why I named those sides. Leeds's squad on paper doesn't match up to those clubs down to the playing staff they've sold, but that can change given that we've investors interested and we're almost out of debt :)

I didn't mean to slur any sides I hadn't mentioned, Leicester, Coventry, Palace and Southampton aren't small sides either.

Out of the choice it would be Curbs...

Bates will probably go for Vialli, or Raneri, or Gullit...Or wise. :(
I think Curbs will have the right temperament to manage a club likes Leeds. Always comes across as assured and confident and never makes false expectations. Which is a bonus as the Leeds faithfull may want instant success with whoever comes in.

What all 7,500 of them that showed up last night? :D

Bear in mind seeing Barnet play isn't a massive attraction.

No offence to Barnet at all.

Leeds took 40,000 to the Millennium Stadia, which is double what watford did.
and its closer for them

wasnt the number of leeds fans that tried to get tickets to the playoffs huge? saw a figure of 250k quoted somewhere.. dunno what truth there is to it however ;)

would like to see O'Leary back there, at least then we'd get to see Leeds scrapping it out in League 1 next season :D

Looks like Dennis Wise. Most of the bookies have the closed the book on him, and they arent often wrong.

Just goes to prove the old adage - paraphrased - be careful what you chant for as it may just come true!
