Played Blair, for having the balls to stand up to even some in your own party, and put your political career on the line. I'm not a Labour voter, but *on this issue* you have proven your worth, IMO.

hahaha blair, [OI!!!], don't make me laugh.

he had no choice.

2nd resolution, didn't happen.

if he had balls he would have pulled out then.

the only balls mr blair has got are firmly clasped between some pliers by donald rumsfeld and friends.

I don't like Blair much, but on the war I happen to agree with him. Well deserved. The public services might still be a shambles at the end of his reign but millions of Iraqis will be free from oppression and torture from a vicious regime, which is a huge achievement in my opinion. :)

I'm with Lostie. I never saw politicians as anything but greedy bickering old men, but Blair sticking up for what he thinks is right, even though so many disagree with him gets my respect.

My sentiments exactly.

I normally can't stand Mr. Blair, however over the whole Iraq issue I believe he has performed impeccably proving his worth in times of difficulties.

where's blair for free elections in zimbabwe? there's some by-elections imminent.
no big speeches there, could nip that self labeled hitler mugabe in the bud.

he's no statesman, yet.
he's picking up his golden poodle award atm.
when he gets a nobel peace prize, i'll take my hat off.

How has he performed impeccably?

He has lied to us and the world for months, on the Iraq issue. He has treated the British people with contempt.

He has taken us into an illegal war and put THIS country's interests second to those of America

I saw the Sun was calling for George Galloway to be tried for treason recently. A better candidate would be Blair; acting against Britain's interests, endangering this country from future terrorist attacks, putting our troops at risk, spending billions of our money on an illegal war.. don't even get me started on the other reasons he acts against this country like immigration, taxes, trying to give Gibraltar to Spain etc etc etc

Okay why talk to Spain about shared sovereignty then? That would be the slippery slope to giving it back to Spain.

The British people don't want Spain to have shared sovereignty.. 99% of Gibratlarians don't want it..

Why is Blair even talking about it then? Does he forget it is his duty to serve the people?
