Blooded Panda

Finally had a chance to move the turbos into their new home.
Mind had moves for red braids with white combs .
I moved the Hue+ from the right ssd housing to the left. Looking at it now with WC gear to go in, will move it back, doesnt block the fan as i thought it would do

Looks like an awesome build with those cables. Not a fan of red PC's, but I do like this.

How have you found the Hue? I keep playing with the settings making up random patterns!

Haven't played with the hue yet :(

Got colour scheme marked up in my head but really need a 5th strip or short versions :/

I agree with the short versions, I've got mine in a Parvum X1.0 (see build in my sig) and the strips are just a fraction too long to fit on one edge.

I've been in communication with NZXT and they're sorting me out with some extra strips for my faulty ones, can't fault that service! Going to take the current ones apart and see how they do it, might re-wire the faulty ones see if I can do something creative with them.

Nice build, love parvum cases. I thought after this one might send them a CAD for a Raven styled 90 degree case done better haha.

Looking how the ends of strips are capped or can be left open, I guess after every LED the circuit loops back on itself, allowing for parallel running /more strips to be added. In theory you should be able to hack just after a LED, to the side were the strip has its male connection ... In theory

I've taken one of my faulty strips apart and have asked here how to rewire them. Might be worth a watch if you're planning on cutting them.

Swapped the white for red, much better! Just last pcie to go .
Most likely route the top pcie cable between the GPUs and underneath the second so its not hanging down.

Under lock as cats are eating cables. PSU tomorrow

Without the side on the case I thought "this dudes gone mad, white looks far better" but with the side panel back on I've got to agree with you, the red looks awesome and finishes it off a treat :)

Haha, cheers :)

I was really hoping the mixture would have worked but the red was just to striking.
Secretly I want to do white cables for pcie but I know red will look the part. I think the red combs being transparent put me right up when you look up close.

Water cooling gear will be white tubes, matt black bitspower and red fluid which should be seen in the plexi sli bridge and swiftech h240x res, with the h240x remaining black. Should keep the colour scheme of mainly white, then black with a touch of red.
Should be able to trail fit 2 red LEDs in the fan shroud this weak for an OS install. 5mm so should like up the fan holes quite nicely.
Will install the EVGA 850w P2 tonight :)
Parvum white and black fans also arriving. White will go on the white rear and black up top. Should give a nice stealthy look but also a lot better performance and quieter

First alphacool block is on its way :)

so, quickly fired up rig last night just to have a quick check.

Rear CPU fan not spinning as i believe its being blocked as they are meant to be mounted with the rear making contact with the heatsink, i couldnt do this.
Also had a Errror code 55 which relates to Mem error, so removed 3 sticks and sits at 64, so still in boot process.
Kind of jumped the gun and didnt stick to doing the basics- skool boy error on my part.
One GPU block is coming today so will take both out (also forgot the sli bridge!!!)
Keep all ram bar one and make sure setting are set to default/safe mode to get it going.
Remove the M.2 SSD
reseat cpu and check the pins.
Gutted didnt boot first time but i guess you run before you learn to walk your asking for it.

changed 2nd PCIe cable... different brand so different colour =/ had to reorder the correct brand.
LED spot lights in GPU where just a tester of its strength , cable will have to leave via the power opening but will braid them and each gpu will get two.

Video, which i had such high hopes

After going back to basics with one ram stick in and clearing the CMOS with gigabytes handle red button. success !!!
4GB @ 2133hz, then 8GB and then full 16GB. yet to play around with timings nor check bios version and is the 950pro is read, but CPU was recorded @ 25c with one fan running, room tempt being 20c.
Also received 2 fans and the correct red cable on my lunch break :D
Cant wait for the Alphacool block to arrive and also sort the red LEDs for the GPU shroud :D

Knew the red cables would look the part and they certainly do! Am looking forward to seeing when the cooling gear arrives and gets added to the case. Great work to date.

Thanks, but im really gutted that alphacools plexi sli bridge isnt going to fit. just means it'll look less tidy. or i could use Bitspower Rotary Ts for a parallel flow but adds greatly to the cost.

also torn with the Tubing and colour. Was going for black fittings (4 90s) and white tubing with clear between the cards and Red liquid, view-able in the h240X res and between the cards.
But thought i could do the cold pipe in White with the exit tubing being clear to show the red liquid as hot... much like a Turbo diagram with inlet, turbo, intercooler etc.
