Blown Corsair Psu

Aint the Corsair PSU's just Seasonic PSU's that are rebranded? If so maybe it could have been a bad batch?

They are built by Seasonic, yes. They use the S12 design for the main unit but with beefed up M12 modular connectors and apparantly higher quality components throughout if memory serves but maybe Yellowbeard would like to correct me if I'm wrong. :)

It is unfortunate that the PSU has gone but such things can happen with any electrical component and hopefully it won't have taken anything else with it as that is one of the marks of a quality PSU - if it can die nice and quietly.

Looking for you now. Keep in mind we have a time difference, most likely 5 or 6 hours. My MSN info is in my public profile here. Find me at your convenience and we'll get this sorted ASAP.

To all the other posts here, thanks for the compliments. We try :D

Right, I took some photos of my 8800 and Corsair, not installing them for an hour yet.

I am abit worried, I heard something moving about in the PSU when I picked it up, wasent the fan, might of just been abit of glue or something hopefully. I guess I can say bye to my hiper now, this Corsair PSU looks awsome :D

Its worrying me now, I move the PSU side to side and I hear something click, like a switch or something :s. is this normal? I am gonna power up the ocmputer with no graphics card in to see if its safe, dont wanna fry my graphics card now do I?.

Have you tried it, I am going to try mine with no graphics card see if its ok. hopefully its nothing to worry about :( I did not get mine from OcUK tho.

Just move it around again, secure the atx cable tho like grab hold of em, I find there is no clicking then.
