Blue and Green are the same colour?

Always liked this one, sorry if it has already been posted.

Effectively the blue overlaid with orange makes a greenish colour or close to it, blue with pink makes purple which is very close to blue, thus keeping the blue truer to it's original hue.

So whilst they're the same colour, it's perfectly natural that they should appear different as the orange overlay is mixing and forming a new colour.

Interesting and thought provoking but definitely no optical illusion.

It reminds me of old comics print, when colours would appear solid single hues but were actually tiny dots of multiple colours on white background when viewed up close.

Argh just seen the shades of gray one - no explaining that one easily.

Going to start posting in this thread again with magic and optical illusions. :)

One of my friends on Fool Us, he is entertaining :):

copied from Youtube comments:

The one you see at the beginning, which is a genuine, true die... the convincer. And the six trick dice under the table, each die missing a different digit. There is one with no number 1, one with no number 2, one with no number 3 etc. Once he knows which sticker has been placed on the envelope containing Jonathan's phone, he picks up the shaker from under the table and also the correct trick die, 2:41. He switches it with the true die at 2:47 as he throws it in the shaker.

This could be how he does it

Look into the centre for about 30 seconds, then look away.

I have a calander on my desk with a picture of a rock face and the picture was moving! Trippy stuff.

What have you done to my eyes!!! I'm now 30 minutes late, Everything's bubbling and wobbling and if I see Jesus for much longer I'm going to cry :(

I wasn't convinced at first, but if you zoom right in the "blue" spirals really are green. If I really stare at it hard enough I can just about make my brain register the fact its green at normal distance.
