Blue screen wen computer left on over night HELP needed

ok i just removed 1 stick and left the one closest to the cpu in and i will let it run for a while, so if memory will this sort my problem for good hopfully lol

You will then need to swap them around after one pass. once you get the stick with the errors you know you motherboard is fine.

want to sort before 12 as that ram is on offer lol sure it took more than 1 pass to detect last time

not sure if its done 1 pass already as it says pass complete nor errors found ? or does that just mean so far

Look at image above, see the top % thats how much its done on the pass. see the name wall-time look across and you will see pass that tells you how meny pass have completed.

1st stick passed in slot 0 with 2 passes so i have put next stick on ram in slot 0 and its currently running

i ran both sticks in both the slots for 4-5 runs and no red errors , i then last night put both in so back to normal and ran the test over night with over 20 runs and seems fine

any ideas ? i want it sorted, would u recomend replacing Ram anyway ? it runs all night on the memtest wereas if pc running downloading or just left on it would go off so i susspect a Ram problem and not overheating etc

Any help would be great thanks

just rma the ram for another set or change to another brand, then you can take it from there, either way there shouldnt be any errors at all

Maybe they just need re-seating? I would give it a day or two, leave PC on over night sitting at desktop and wait for BSOD. If nothing happens It seems it was just a little issue on the RAM slot.

ok well left on over night downloading and

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

u still think is defenately the RAM if so i think i will just order some

thanks Dean  strange cause just ran memtest with 2 runs and fine but if suspect ram i will replace it

I still think its the ram myself.

Yep I would just replace it mate. if you can also do a check disk on your hard drive.
My computer right click C: properties tools then check now tick both boxes. It will ask to restart and can take sometime depending on storage and drive size.

cannot run test as cannot get to start up now will have to order ram first, and wazza i am new at this and i havnt changed or altered any voltages at all and will need avice to change any
