Blue screen wen computer left on over night HELP needed

its ok but look at the specs

Each module kit has been tested to run at DDR3-1600MHz at a low latency timing of 9-9-9-27 at 1.65V (kingston)

Tested together at 1600MHz, Vdimm = 1.50V, at latency settings of 9-9-9-24 on Intel DDR3-based motherboards (vengeance)

or this would be fine if you want low profile(no heatsink)

go for the one i linked above, its cheaper than the kingston

is the lower the voltage the better then ? ok well post the ram u think will be best and i will order in morning

appreciate ur help anyway wazza been great along with shankley, i will get ordered in morning then hopefully arrives saturday or monday

will seak tomorro anyway
thanks Dean

the lower the voltage the better!!! you can always overvolt the ram if you need to,but you cant undervoltage high voltage ram or it will error and crash

its advised to run ram upto 1.5750v on sandybridge cpu's anyway

no probs i just hope it fixes things,if it doesnt then you have 14day distance selling regulation to return the ram for full refund so dont throw any packaging away ect untill you know its cured it

I had the corsair vengeance before this kinston. On the bios OC page at the top you see profile select xmp from there. then change the voltage to 1.575 and then run memtest again.

clicked on everything and nothing about xmp, set ram to 1.575 but stil doesnt work ram memtest and millions of red errors still, going to order some Ram what will be best ? think i shouldnt use same brand so maybe the kingston ones but wazza says they are still 1.65v ???????????

what u think

just a quick question whats the difference with low profile ? just smaller ? also is this defently the best ram i can get for around £50 also corsairs isnt on this list so hope this isnt the fault http://www.asrock.com/mb/memory.asp?Model=Z68 Extreme4 Gen3

Dean

That's why I pointed out the Kingston Ram am using, its on the list. even though its rated 1.65v you dont run it at that voltage am running mine at 1.575v fine.

XMP enabled gives me 1600mhz @1.575v

i couldnt find the xmp option but should it be fine even without xmp (what is xmp lol)

You dont need to use xmp (extreme memory profile) it just sets up your Ram timings and settings for you. Only thing it dont change is voltage.

Your RAM now supports xmp I looked I will go into my bios and take pic for you to see where its at.

ok well i will order that kingston now mate as dont want same problem with corsairs

thanks shankly been a great help along with wazza
