Blueyonder/Telewest speed upgrades

Id rather pay £30 and get the full AVG antivirus and firewall than a free one.
The point is that you don't need to spend any money. Legally you can use the products I listed without payment, as long as you are not a business. :)

Though I have purchased AVG+Firewall for my laptop, and have AVG SOHO licences covering my other PCs. This is due to business use. :) (I'll now avoid dragging this thread any more off topic...)

On the BY site it says the Knowsley area will be upgraded on the 8th of sept. I'm just down the road from knowsley in st.helens, will I be included in this?

No it doesn't. There is currently no upgrade schedule and it won't start until the end of September anyway.

I assume this is infastructure work prior to upgrading the modem settings.
Looks like it to me too.

Someone posted it on one of the blueyonder newsgroups. It looks as if it's been pasted from a spreadsheet or table - possibly leaked from by.

If you look at the blueyonder status page it shows a lot of scheduled maintainence, presumeably capacity upgrades, before 10mbit is introduced.

Theres reports of some people already receiving the upgrade, only for it to disappear a few days later. They must be testing the capacity or still doing trials.

We'll just have to wait and see :)
