with the 10mbit the upstream will be 1/25 of downstream. thats just silly

I'm in Rochester pretty much right next to Gillingham.

Does it mean that when Gillingham gets upgraded I will too?

Yep, you should be on the Gillingham UBR

If they turn the new bandwidth on as soon as the upgrade is done you should see it tomorrow

Sorry if this has already been asked -

Just got my Telewest 2Mbit line yesterday, but transfers over MSN are dead slow and I have a terrible connection on eMule. Anyone else have this similar problem? Direct downloads from websites are fine though.

Anyone in the Croydon area got the speed increase yet?

Someone has just posted on the ADSL Guide that they have had the increase he is in Mitcham which is approx 3 miles from me.According to the BY website Croydon is done but I am on uBR CRO9 and it had not happend as of this morning.

no, but it will give a better indication to your true speeds, msn & p2p are slow at the best of times

im close to sutton and the speed has been increased. although it has not been to the full amount yet, only 1.4mbits atm

Why? I was asking a question and the fact that I am at work and posting in my break without any access to an IM program or my mail account due to company firewalls it would be quite difficult.

I mean there are people talking about their old teachers in this thread lol,at least this is related to BY.I dont want to get to know the guy personally

I was just curious as to wether or not it had happened.

I Live in the Croydon area and the Telewest service has been up and down for about a week due to the upgrades, so today I done a test at http://www.speedtest.ndo.com and got the following result...
