it tells you on the blueyonder website where has been upgraded!! Anyway has anyone else suffered severely degraded service since upgrade?

Downloading of the BY and 100proofnews server the speeds are all over the place. I never really had a problem until the upgrades started. My area on the even faster site says there will be disruptions until November 7th. I just wish they would hurry up and get things sorted.

Telewest did say some areas wont be done untill 2006...

Wolverhampton, Dudley, might not be done until 2006. A lot of work needs to be done before Wolves is ready to be upgraded.

Expect it December at the earliest!

Read on another forum a post from someone who is claiming to have been told that TW hope to have there rolllout complete by 15th November.

It seems a bit far fetched to me considering that some areas haven't even been mentioned on the evenfaster site yet.

I expect they are aiming to be completed before the end of the year, as they have a upgrade/maintence change freeze for a week or two either side of the New Year.

Still waiting for the switch to be flicked over here in the South West (UBR upgrades completed last week).

I dont know why the upgrades take so long...I mean really...

I'm on 2mb at the mo and soon to be moving house...now do I tell bluyonder or do I sign up when I move for there "first 3 months at £so and so"

Does Brierley hill class as Dudley? hope not cos when i checked the page and inputed my postcode it said before the end of november.

saying that i live a 2 minute walk from telewest house so lets hope they look out for number 1 and already have a decent setup in the area.

But a few guys i know who wrk for telewest have all said rollout should be complete by the start of 2006

Liverpool, Preston and Knowsleys uBR's and network upgrades are finished by the looks of it, so hopefully it should be around the second week in November for thier speed uplifts.

I'm on the Sutton Coldfield UBR 01, net's been down since about 10, am at uni now not sure if it's back up yet but blueyonder tech support said that there will be network downtime due to speed upgrades between 10 and 17:00. Looking at the cable modem config it couldn't lock onto a frequency at first, then i wasn't able to get an IP. I assume it'll all be back later on.

Net was back up from about 5ish yesterday, no speed improvements though.

hey there, i have telewest broadband in my flat at camden and was wondering if anyone knew when they're going to be upgrading it, and if signing up to that special deal last month of tv and broadband for £15/month means im eligable or not?
