BMW 330 e46 - Pics of Msport/Non Msport cars?

On the E90 from the factory they are different...

Ah ok, my pre facelift E46 330Ci sport has the short shift gear knob, perhaps only the coupes have it.

This is a 330 thing not a Sport thing. The top non M model generally had memory seats as standard. This means both 330 Coupe and 3.0 Z4 did but the more expensive 530 did not, grrrrrrr

it looks rather drab and dreary, but that's because black interiors never really come out well in poor photographs

Yeah short shift knob is an option on the E46/saloon/coupe, mine came with one so no bother.

Coupe gets rear and side LED lights too.:

Mine ^ is not a 330ci Sport but it's exactly the same barring the -1 tail pipe and 17" wheels.

Also I've seen SOME 330ci coupes where the xenon headlamp interior is wall whiteish clear which makes it look white and bad....why is this? did some come with white interior instead of black they were all facelift too.

Guy at work has a blue one but in non Sport trim and his headlights are the same as mine but the inside colour is white.

Weird.

Yes but this is about the shape of the car and the trim option, the shape does not change based on what engine is under the bonnet nor does the bonnet have a window to see it so!

One could argue black looks better than chrome - hence why the boys over at e46 fanatics often black out their grilles as the first mod.

No need for chrome =]

Oh yeah, e46 fanatics is great for DIY fixes, mods and general information. The yanks seem to know their stuff when it comes to e46 :P

I've seen a few of these on PH; they look terrible.

OP: Bear in mind, some of these engines have chronic oil consumption. One of the owners on here was topping up every 700 miles or something daft.

I'm sure someone will elucidate shortly...
