BMW and M Power Owners

Is there an easy way to tell, chrome around the nav screen? Is the LCI a must have?

LCI has different front lights, chrome around the nav screen, different back lights, M badge on the wing for M Sport cars, indicators in the mirror housings. There is also a new steering wheel design for M Sport cars and a touchpad for the iDrive controller.

I seem to remember Fox saying the LCI wasn’t a huge upgrade and maybe even a downgrade with the standard lights (halogen indicators?).

The pre LCI F10 had two lighting options, standard (Halogen) and upgraded (Xenons). For the LCI, Xenon became the standard lighting option and the upgraded option were LED headlights. Only the upgraded option had LED indicators and whilst many people specced Xenons on a pre LCI almost nobody specced LED on a post LCI. The end result of this is that most good spec LCI cars have the Xenons with halogen indicators. You can easily stick some LED ones in, though.

I've had two F10's - a 2010 SE and a 2015 M Sport. I am much happier with my LCI car - lots of the earlier issues were fixed and it just feels like a more complete package.

i think the easiest way (well it is for me)...is the location of the rear cat's eye reflectors.
on the pre-lci the reflectors were quite far down the bumpers. on the post-lci the reflectors were nearer the brake light clusters

I just don’t understand people. I have my F10 up for sale. Twice I have come home from work early because someone was coming to see the car. They text to say they are on the way and then just don’t show up.

Just over 3000 miles into ownership of my first BMW, and first ever new car. Still loving it, no issues so far (apart from BT music suddenly stopped working, not sure if that's an Apple thing or BMW)

I put two coats of Gyeon Mohs (ceramic coating) a month or so ago, really impressed with it! Still holding up as new, but should last at least a year or so.

Only mods I've done is the typical Motech bits, lowering springs (w/spacers) and splitter/sides.

Still getting used to the power, quite a step up from my previous car! (RS R26) Doesn't have quite the same handling agility, but the power is certainly addictive!

I'd love to fit the LSD, as Cotswold BMW is only down the road from me, and it's just over 2K fitted.
