Mine never works
Because I coded it out due to it being the worst concept ever, you should do this too, before you end up in a tesla
I really like it.

Its absolutely rubbish in my X3 (30d), very intrusive and quite dumb (it stops too keenly when in town traffic and you stop for more than a split second). One of those things you need to code out immediately or keep switching off routinely in this model at least.
Ive not had a car with the lane departure system, but that strikes me that it must be very intrusive if it goes off every time you cross white lines without indicating.
More than the reliance, it sounds very intrusive - through normal driving i must cross white lines many times per day without indicating, you don't indicate if there is no-one to indicate to, which is a lot of the time, and you don't indicate when using all of the road on a normal unclassified road (with central markings) as i do many miles on every day.
I must have misunderstood it.![]()
At least you can just code it all out. Standard kit for any BMW owner is an ENET cable![]()
Bit OTT for the family bus for meOh yes, I have a rasberry pi constantly connected to mine acting as a wifi hotspot, so I never need to even bother plugging anything in
see here: https://bootmod3.atlassian.net/wiki...+Adapter+OBD+Agent+Hardware+-+Firmware+Update
If i change from comfort mode to sport it doesn't seem to do the stop/start thing. I generally have it in that mode anyway.

How do you live without having suitable alerts regarding your manifold?
Very nice! My 535d is quick, that thing will be bananas. Bet you can't wait.Coming soon to a driveway near me:
