BMW and M Power Owners

The importance of the nav and idrive are more than just looks and..er nav. It provides a level of integration that gives you more convenience over cars without.

If you want iPod integration and control - you can get this with the nav/idrive cars (you need the usb socket in the glovebox too). This will also give you better bluetooth intergration with your phone (this can give additional features like bluetooth audio streaming, internet and BMW apps depending on addition options).

I was never really sold on the whole idrive and nav option, but once you have it, you realise you wouldn't want to be without it.

Cruise comes as standard with the SE spec, or at least it did on later cars. There's plently choice out there, so don't feel you have to miss out on the spec you want.

just dropping these pics here.

OEM Rear wheels all around with 5mm spacers front and rear

Please ignore my cataract front lights, i have since drained the half litre of water out of them and dried them out

Have to say, a lot more grip at the front now, you can get it to understeer but only by taking way to much speed into the corner(which is now more than on 8" wheels)

Been looking through my company car list and I really can't see anything that's good around what I want to spend other than a 1 or 3 series.

120d M sport or a 320d Luxury I think. Other choices for the money are a relatively base spec A4, Leon Supercopa thingy, Octavia VRS, Scirocco, just don't feel any of those will be as good.

The 320d Lux and 120d M Sport and totally different cars - you need to decide if you want an aggressive styled smaller hatch or a luxury comfortable saloon.
If it's the latter then have you checked out the recently tweaked Audi A4, the diesel SE Technik is very well equipped.

If you do decide you want a luxury saloon then you are stuck as neither the 3 Series nor the A4 are luxury saloons irrespective of bizarre trim level names given to them :p

Been looking for an M Sport steering wheel for my e60 lci but the eBay ones all seem to be peeling on the plastic, regardless of buying a good one now I'd rather not go buying something that's going to look tatty in a year or two considering mine still looks factory fresh if a bit thin and whispy

They all peel, its part of the **** quality in the E60. They are not part of the wheel though so you can replace them seperately.

For some reason the BMWs are reasonably priced on the company lease scheme, the Audis are not so am discounting them.

I think I want an x20d in some trim, and I'd prefer a 3.

I know an M sport is different to the lux, but end of the day I wouldn't want a 1 in any other trim as not a fan of the looks in standard form.

The 3 however I do like, I'd prefer the M sport in that but think I'll be needing to order before they are released.

End of the day they aren't that dissimilar to drive, yeah they are different but not night and day.

I'm also tempted to go auto, what the hell is happening to me.

Naa it's alright, it turned out to be a late 03 model. Still a reasonable deal but not quite the snap his hand off deal I thought it was.
Everything is in place to seal the deal, just need to check over the paperworks finer details sometime this week

Had a go in a 335d 2007 coupe at the weekend, now im in 3 minds, M5, M3 or 335d coupe! I mean the price is coming down but the quality or car isnt really. I was quite surprised at the power and drive from a diesel, looking into it, apparently they have the same power as a 1993 M3
