I have to say I've always found the MPG in the G20 320i and 330i quite disappointing, mid-30's in general. Diesel is far better.

This is part of what helped me settle on an M340i - the economy is pretty much the same.

I can’t imagine you’d see late 40s out of a 4 cylinder petrol either

got 1.4tfsi/150bhp manual a4 avant and on regular cross country/fens/A10 A road routes 120 miles round avg 55, doing 50+mpg, mostly just me,
also, like for bmw if you have auto/x-drive/bigger-engines you add 150Kg+=2people too, to carry around corners.
haven't done much motorways/urban yet - occasionally glance at mpg status and confuse it with speed, guess that's a diesel world problem.

I would have got the b38/manual - sound was reminiscent of previous 320/6 cylinder during test drives - but noticeably less powerful and dealer wasn't responsive to fix a few issues. (pro rwd, con cabin/audio)
couldn't find a manual/non-M 320/330

How come the reason for deleting a message doesnt actually show you the reason

The 'Show...' button is to show the post, not the deletion reason. It only works for moderators/admins.

I recall Kindai (I think) saying it couldn't be easily removed in one of the forum software update threads, because of the way it's baked into the software.
