BMW and M Power Owners

An auto in a Club Sport makes little sense to me but other than that the car does look in great condition given the combination of miles and age :)

I do like that Club Sport, though it's the inferior Estoril Blue ;) :p

Yep, same with mine, all the manual ones had literally no spec when I was looking for a 330, really annoying!

CS above looks nice, interior pics? Details? Come on do it, do it now!!

A 645/50 as a "fun" car? Surely it's too big and heavy to be classed as "fun" :p

Depends what your idea of fun is. A lot of people (me included!) will appreciate a nice V8 soundtrack, plenty of straight line speed, and a fancy interior far more than sharp handling and instant throttle response. I'd certainly pick a 645 over something like a Z4 3.0 as a weekend car, although I suspect most of OCUK would disagree with me there. :p

Why? It's a 330Ci not a sports car - the 'Club Sport' moniker didn't mean it was a hardcore stripped out road racer, it was just a trim level with some added trinkets and a bit less soundproofing under the bonnet. The 330Ci suits an autobox well.

Any members here who are experts at coding E46?
I've got an CSL ECU and will need it either putting in Virgin state or EWS disabled so car starts with it and then certain settings changed such as cruise control on, type of steering rack and DSC etc.

I'm still looking at 330ci as the astra still bores me to death.

Struggling to find good ones really as they mostly have black wheels, lowered or have ruined interiors.

I feel £6-7k is too much for the lower mileage versions people have up. £4-5k seems to get a good enough one.

I like this one but would prefer a facelift or a pre facelift with xenons, the half leather I don't mind but would prefer all black and again auto would do but I've only ever had manual crap cars so a good auto could do the trick.

Behave, £6k is stupid money for a car the age of the 330ci

Define "a good one?" Look hard enough and you'll find something worth having, but they aren't a young car so be willing to put some work in

That clubsport looks very poor value for money

i8 was awesome! Make sure they let you take it on a proper hoon! The sensation is strange but so, so refined!

It looks very nice, but £100k for a BMW is just too much money. £70k and maybe it would be tempting. The doors also make the car a real pain to get in and out of.

Hehe I can understand that. It is of course a big GT car with a V8, I can't think of a more usable V8 GT car that's as luxurious inside for that kind of money either. In before someone lists out a page full of compatible cars...

Oh, well that's crap! I always thought the Club Sport was a more rawer version of the 330Ci as opposed to just a bit of a different body kit trim. The value for the money then is quite poor as mentioned above :(

Naaaaah :D:D Cause V8 :)

Actually, looking at Parkers, it says the 650i actually weighs less than your M3, this true???

Parkers may be generalising - 650i is 1,650–1,995kg depending on spec and engine choice, my E46 is up to 1665KG depending on spec.

I do believe the v8 power plants that came later from BMW are actually lighter than the S54 il6 engine and more compact. Certainly was the case on the E92 M3 :)
