BMW and M Power Owners

The sparkplug well gaskets always fall to bits and you need to prise the actual rocker off the right way or it'll break too - it's never a 20 min job for someone that hasn't done one before, double it at least for someone not that mechanically minded and taking their time.

Winding the rears in a click doesn't always work on old shoes or if the mechanism has buggeredd itself, like they seem to enjoy doing

No sorry I was referring to "everything" being brittle. I wasn't sure what you were referring to hence everything should not be brittle apart from the rocker cover.

Big car is big :( reversed it into steel stuff holding a car park up!

No damage thankfully but makes me want to try get PDC working somehow.

Looking online for replacement angel eye bulbs are mine are two different shades, all that comes up are LED ones. I just want the same shade of the normal colour on both sides.

People seem to struggle more jumping into a saloon after always driving hatches rather than with the actual size I reckon

Either way pdc is usually easy enough to fix

Don't drive a Mondeo then, which is larger.

I didn't suggest a Mondeo wasn't bigger, nor did I say that I wouldn't want to drive a 5 Series (or a Mondeo, for that matter).

Besides, isn't the Mondeo a new design, whereas the F10 is six/seven years old now? I suspect the new 5 series will be bigger still.

I was simply implying, by most UK driving standards, the 5 series would be considered a big car. Outside of the confined, esoteric group that is OCUK Motors, that is.

 he's not.

The F10 is a pretty big car.

e; beaten like a stepchild of the ginger variety.

I was looking into getting an F15 X5, that is, until I got an insurance quote! They are the most stolen vehicle in the UK apparently. I was quoted £1600 pa, compulsory £500 excess and a tracker device mandatory - another £500 odd. Considering that a 535D Touring only costs £550 with £200 excess, I think that is rather excessive!

In other words, I've abandoned the idea of a X5!!!!

Where do you live out of interest?
