is that in fahrenheit or celsius? mine only goes to up to 28

Is it not quite logical to work that out?

Either - It's celcius like yours but the car picture will heat itself beyond the temperature where cells in human beings start to die, possibly high enough to kill the occupants within 10 minutes.

OR

Yours is Farenheit also and the highest temperature your heating can deliver is just below freezing. Death could occur on a long journey (unless you use the heated seats)

OR

It's configurable

Does anyone know a decent BMW specialist repair shop around London?

Appears my car was reversed into while parked and i might need a replacement bumper. Got a quote from a BMW dealer and it's effectively £800 for the bumper and £1,100 worth of labour

Would like to get a second opinion.

Not sure what your car is but just as a comparison, I recently got my bumper replaced (F10 M Sport) and it was a total of £1,600 (mostly part costs).

Turns out the E39 is more complicated than an Almera, who'd have thought it?

Brake lines run behind the tank/axle/subframe making it more complicated.

Got two prices so far of £300 and £373 from two BMW 'specialists'.

I read people online getting it closer to £200 but one of the guys says he takes 5 hours to drop the subframe etc, compared to 8-9 the BMW technical thing says that's not too bad.

The local place that my dad uses is £40+Vat an hour so even that would be £240 going purely on hourly rate.

£300 is seeming quite reasonable to me now, however frustrating it is.

Most people will run the new lines along past the tank rather then up and over as per the original route.that said, £250-300 is probably about right
