Aside from the missing Xenons, look alright? Viewing later today.

Considering the two years BMW warranty, its reasonably priced.

The spec isn't brilliant and no Xenon's would annoy me but at least it has pro nav and it's fairly cheap for an F10. If this is your budget then it's unlikely you are going to find a wonderful spec example anyway.

The mileage is high though so that 2 year warranty becomes very important if you can get it (1 year is standard on AUC, 2 years requires an offer or some haggling) because the renewal price will be astronomically expensive.

Cheers, finding cars with Xenons in my <15K budget is not easy, so thats one area I'm willing to sacrifice. Auto and pro-nav are must, and AUC warranty due to mileage as you say!

Cost of £900 a year for warranty, makes the AUC cars quite good value when you can get 2 years thrown in.

There is a non-AUC car on my radar here

Slightly odd one, its from a VW main dealer. So only comes with 12 months warranty via their 3rd part, AA equivalent, could be a nightmare if anything goes wrong, claiming etc.
They also don't know what nappa leather actually is.

Not sure its worth the possible hassle to save a couple of grand.

Drove an F01 730d yesterday. It really is a fantastic car; beautiful interior, torquey engine, brilliant balance in ride quality and feel. It doesn't feel like you're detached from the car in a big floaty barge.

I didn't think there'd be such a significant difference in ride quality from an E Class to a 7 (obviously is whole level up in terms of the segment it fills in the market) but you really are cushioned from just above every bump!

What do people use to stop windows sticking when it's cold? Silicone lubricant?
Struggled to get into the Z4 this morning as the windows have to drop slightly to allow the door to open.

On my Z I used to pour some water on the seals before I got in. I'm sure there's a better solution, though.
