BMW drivers

Yes, becuase that would have been very polite and neccesary, wouldn't it.

Oh just like how you come across on here, yes Fox you are always polite and post neccersary comments. I give up with you, hey I'll even let you have the last word and everything!

To summarise

I feel the BMW is an affordable prestige when you comapre it to some of the bigger prestige marques out there, I put this purely on how fast they depreciate and become affordable to the mainstream, this doesn't happen with an Aston or Porshe, therefore it is 'affordable' to the mainstream. Even young students like Fox are picking up 5 Series then spending their time pootling about town with their premature slippers on :D

Yes I own a Focus, and fail greatly because of it and per Fox I am not at a position to comment about them as I don't have the life experience some do?!?

So a 2006/56 335i M Sport Coupe is very affordable??

I honestly wish what you were saying was true, I'd have bought mine a lot sooner and I'd be upgrading to an E92 tommorrow!

I'm really not sure you're getting my point.

A Ferrari will NEVER depreciate to become affordable to the mainstream, the BMW will and as proved you see all sorts of types driving them and they've become as common as muck.

I love them for it though, you can have luxury at a good price.

you ever wondered why the 'ask the audience' bit on who wants to be a millionaire is usually right ;)

If by usually, you mean 60% of the audience, and if by right you mean "haven't guessed the 1 in 4 (or sometimes 1 in 2!) probability questions", then yeah.

Great argument that one.

Sorry but talking to real people in real life has what to do with debating cars on the internet?

Aston and Porsche are totally different brands offering totally different cars

Are you telling me that this isn't true of Mercedes and Audi?

No, never said such, you're making it up for yourself now :D.

Fox you spend more time plugging that BMW than you do driving the bloody thing.

You'll stick by it like a new born child, scary really :D.

But this thread is singling out BMW - yet the latter criticisms of the brand apply equally to every car thats less exotic than a Porsche?

Fox you spend more time plugging that BMW than you do driving the bloody thing.

You must be joking, I barely dare mention it, I keep it to threads like this or I'll get 'OMG IF IT INST A BMW YOU THINK TIS CRAP LOLZ' rammed down my throat for the next 18 months.

Come on, are you honestly telling me you'd play no part in a thread called 'Everyone who buys a Focus is a ****'?

This thread is so camp and everyone posting in it is a fool!

saw a Porsche 997 of somesort come hairly at least 120MPH undertaking cutting in and out of traffic on the M1 in rush hour the other day. It takes all sorts of drivers to be complete morons not just BMW's. Should I ever be involved in a collision by someone who I consider endangered my/passenger life by tailgating/flashing headlights I would knock them into next week.

Lets face it, BMW are a mass market car manufacturer, they sell cars ALL OVER the world, in almost every country, lots of people can afford them as they are everywhere, you're bound to get the odd tit or two but I agree, the ratio of knobs:regular folk is alarmingly high, they aren't always bad drivers, just tend to drive fast, although Volvos have to be the fastest driven cars IME.

The BMW driver was a tit, that's assuming you were sticking to the keep left unless overtaking rule of course.

It wouldn't happen in the first place, they never aquired the same stigma that the BMW's did. Everyone knows someone who owns a Focus :D
