The BNP will never gain power because very few if ay people actuall want them in power. iirc Dmpoole is a member of the BNP, and he doesn't want them in power because they would be a disaster, because they simply wouldn't know what to do. The whole point of the BNP is and was to raise awareness about a sinlge problematic issue immigration, their policies are although some make sense some key ones are just plain stupid. Pulling out of NATO would not be a good move for this country.

Their policies are ideals, with which some i agree with, thier education plans would be in an ideal world what i would like to do, the problem is that most of them are economically completely unrealistic.

I would have to disagree in this case, I think it is a little stronger than
homo-critical, calling homosexuals a cancer on our society, then stating there should be drugs developed that can cure them of "gayness" and also suggesting they should be denied rights mereily because of their sexual oritentation is a pretty biggoted attitude.

If he is not biggoted for having an unpopular view then surely the BNP should not be classed as bigots or racists as they have an unpopular view just against a different group of people. But I bet OP would disagree with us on this point

What I am saying is that people should be allowed an unpopular opinion, as long as their reasoning is sound. I dont think ElRaz's society is sound BTW but there are more salient arguments as to why a person could disagree with homosexuality

I agree about peoples right to have an unpopular opinion but not about there being more salient arguments as to why a person could disagree with homosexuality. People are people at the end of the day and everyone should have the right to live free from discrimination and in safety where ever they choose.

the OP is against the BNP as they are targetting their policies against the ethinc group he belongs to, but then turns around in another breath and spouts the same views against homosexuals, at least the BNP only want to deport immigrants, not drug gays into being straight

Again, I agree - he adopts attitudes that are in his own interests rather than on any moral basis - as most of us do except some of the most opulent amongst us who seem to take an abstract moral view for a lot of issues

To be honest if somehow the BNP did get into power then I doubt there would be much uproar, the British public is far too apathetic and we would probably all just get on with our daily lives while moaning about their policies in the pubs and wondering why all the takeaways were shut.

I didnt discriminate no one iirc, I dont wanna get invole because i have been judged already because of my view on Homosexuals. And comments like "El society is not sound......" and "he suggested homosexuals to be drugged" etc aint exactly what i wanna be rolling with this evening.

Im just asking what will happen if they won the election and their policies etc.....

If they get into power you will have more to worry than their policies, as the it will mean the major groups linked with the BNP will have majority rule.

Seriously Elrazur what were you expecting? You made those comments about homosexuals which were pretty extreme. Now you're expressing concern about the BNP, which share your extreme view on things, but it's aimed at a different minority group. Can you not see the hypocracy in your views

What else was he supposed to infer from your posts? You said you'd be quite pleased if the BNP got in because there are millions of ethnic minorities in this country and "you see the picture now don't you?"
