US: Boardwalk Empire S05

They guy who played Richard Harris seems to be getting his big break since Boardwalk now, he's up for the lead in the Ben Hur remake.

Nucky is a fictional character? The others are real though.

I'm enjoying the series so far. Glad we got to see some of Muller and Capone.
 
There is a wiki of who's real, who is fiction and who is based on a real person but altered. I have not read it as it states how they die

Yeah they were and also they were keen to come out early and say it will be the final season. At least we get a full wrap up. Certally enjoyed all the seasons. I would not say like with other series it has had a weak season. Be a constant high standard. The ending of season 3 with Richard was just amazeballs

I think the weakest was possibly the first, but I'm only saying that because I felt like it took a long time for me to get into it.

S5 has been great so far, its really building up to an almighty ending. Hope it delivers! Price for bluray for season 4 is a bit steep, £37!! Then you can get seasons 1-4 on bluray for £62....hmmm.....annoying pricing.
 
I really like the Nucky back story. Surprised it has took this long to do it this way. For the first time I'm actually enjoying Margaret in this series.
 
Finally got to seeing the first two episodes and liking the way we've travelled back in time. What odds on Nucky enjoying his retirement when it's all over? :D
 
Nucky will probably end up under the boardwalk his character is based on a real person but does not share his name and even Steve said in an interview that means hes fair game.

Overall im a little flat with this final series only 8 episodes they could have thrown a rothstein special in the middle, the 7 year gap was a bit much but the writers are doing their best when you consider the constraints including budget.
 
Arghhhh... I failed to watch seasons 1-4 fast enough on NowTV this month. So last night I could either start season 4 or watch the first episode of season 5 before it disappeared from NowTV.

In the end I watched it and enjoyed it, but... sigh! Oh well, I have a week to watch season 4 before the next episode disappears.
