Borderlands 3

After loving 1 & 2. Kind-of enjoying but ultimately giving up on the Pre-sequel about 3/4 plus through and then being somewhat disappointed with 3 (I did complete it but it felt like a slog in parts), I gave up on Tina's Wonderlands after about 15 hours. I'm not sure if the quality of the games deteriorated or I just got Borderlands fatigue... The Telltale game was good fun though so I'm looking forward to watching this.

Bit of a thread resurrection but…
Just got back into PC gaming recently and finished Borderlands The Prequel. Quite enjoyed it and the DLC, reminded me why I spent 100’s hours on Borderlands 2.
Bought Borderlands 3 on a whim (before looking at a new PC and the fourth instalment) and I’m finding it a little bit strange even after only 30-40 minutes.
I seem to have lots of guns, money, grenades, extra firing modes and 2 action skills already. It seems a lot to have at the beginning of the game and TBH is a little confusing so early into the game.
Maybe I’ve got Borderlands fatigue but it’s rare that I’ll start a new game then not go back to it for a week. Hope I get to grips with it.

I couldn't get on with the third. Some fun bosses but something didn't quite click - we seemed to get the nice loot a lot easier than in the second if I remember.

I found the legendaries were thrown at you like they were going out of fashion but I can't remember a single one I actually liked using. (Even though it's been a while since I played.)

Yeah, by level 20 you're usually draped in orange.

There are definately come crap legendaries, but some good ones too. The flakkr and doom shotgun are good and the brrrt smg is hilarious at high level.

The gameplay is a step up imo, but the plotline of the base game isnt as strong as previous titles. In fairness to them bl2 is a hell of an act to follow.

Hasnt pulled me back to it same way that bl2 did, i should do another playthrough sometime.
