If it was £50 for the full game I could just about justify it but not £85, and I'm not paying £50 for a cut down version. Could you imagine if the Shareware version of Doom had been £50 and the full version £85? iD wouldn't have gone bankrupt before they launched Quake lol.

At this point I think I'll just wait for it to arrive on Steam for £20-30 so I can have the full set in one place, I don't like being charged a premium for inconvenience >.>

Are you just ignoring the multiple comments from people discussing getting the game on a fairly large discount from legit sites that aren't selling grey keys?

Because you can get it right now for 60 for the game and every expansion that will come out.

Not many frames per second though. My gtx 1080 only getting 45fps in the benchmark on ultra with hdr.

Any tips on what to turn down.

I turned aa off hopefully that will be enough.

HDR looks stunning, colours are amazing.

Did you set it to badass options? If so, the last 2 settings get cranked up to ultra so maybe just stick to ultra preset. If not, try change AA from temporal to FXAA.

And obviously, download the new drivers from nvidia for this release (436.30).

I have new drivers.

Having to play on medium 1440p hdr with my gtx 1080.

running round about 85fps now. Hopefully there is going to be some setup videos.

Any tips for getting it looking good with out tanking framerate?

DX12 badass preset - 73fps average
DX12 ultra preset - 78fps average
DX11 badass preset - 80fps average
DX11 badass with volumetric fog to high and everything else at 'max' - 87fps average

Running super smooth for me with everything on Ultra and Temporal AA. Though I only play at 1080

Right now best thing I have tried seems medium preset with no aa and terrain ultra.
Field of view max.

65-80fps gtx 1080, 1440p, hdr on

When you get to first boss fight the colours and graphics are amazing.

Mouthpiece I think his name is.

I love the hdr neons.

considering it is a different fella, he’s doing a pretty good job of matching the original. And I thought Gillian Anderson was playing Lilith!

I like the way all the ammo now jumps out of the crates into your inventory automatically. Just done the first boss so not much else to report but had to switch off or else I would be up all night.

OK I quite like the new gameworld so far, good to see so much upgraded e.g. vehicle customisation options etc. I can almost forget the awful Claptrap impersonator.

Nice! I've underclocked my gpu to 1750 as it's a heatwave here in SF right now. And it's DAMN warm. I'll OC to what you have and test out. But yea, it's buttery smooth.

Also, when you say ultra, do you mean badass or actually ultra? I couldn't see a single difference between ultra and badass. So stuck with ultra

I haven't had chance to test settings much, obviously we had late release, plus im im sleepy.

Volumetric fog is dropping framerate 24%.
Foliage detail 12%

So hopefully if I turn these down I should be able to use ultra preset.

Is the gameplay as fun as it looks; Never played BL before but I've been watching streams and it looks amazing.

How is the replayability on this game; Does it have any endgame or you just reroll another character when the campaign is over;
