I've been away from this game for a few months now. I really enjoyed it but then hit burn out/repetition. Is it worth a revist?

I got a bit burnt out from it and stopped for a few months. Jumped back in last night and loved it.

I think it helps when you get a half decent build with good weapons.

Nothing worse than roaming the map and getting mullered everywhere, rinse and repeat.

Loved this at launch for a few weeks but soon realised it has no endgame.

I was wondering why I didn't have borderlands 4.. I enjoyed the others and I'm just about completing Tiny Tina's offshoot. Then I went to Steam and saw the price... oh, that's why.

I picked it up for about a quarter of the official price, which seemed fair. It was certainly less than in the Steam sale when it was discounted by something like 68%. Or if you want to keep it more official, it's currently 50% off on Epic and 54% off on GamesPlanet US (never used them myself).
